Diabetic Neuropathy sufferer experiences remarkable relief with innovative microcurrent point stimulation pain therapy and device.
In September, 2012, 65 year old Linda thought for sure that she would lose a second foot to her Diabetic Neuropathy. Her first one was lost to the disease a year prior, an infection spread to the limb and was unable to be saved by doctors despite their best efforts at controlling it. Now, Linda’s remaining foot was beginning to show signs of the same infection. All that was left to do was wait – and try to relieve the pain as much as she could.
David Lust, Linda’s physical therapist, was willing to try anything to help Linda’s suffering. He had heard of a new form of acupuncture-like therapy through associates that was producing impressive outcomes with their patients pain: Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) Therapy.
Microcurrent Point Stimulation, or MPS, is a non-invasive treatment of chronic neuro-myofascial pain that is grounded on the principle of drug-free manipulation of the autonomic nervous system by treating trigger and acupuncture points with direct current energy. This integrative knowledge is then woven into easy-to-apply protocols, which are then treated with MPS-concentrated microcurrent stimulation using the Dolphin Neurostim, a device specifically created to produce the same pain relieving affects of acupuncture.
Lust believed that MPS Therapy would help relieve the pain Linda was experiencing, both in her residual limb and her remaining, affected foot. What ended up happening during his treatments, however, was something he did not anticipate: her foot began to heal.
“I saw her three times a week and each time I returned her foot looked better. She soon began to get increased movement, as well as increased sensation and a normalization of the color of her foot… She had her initial fitting of a prosthesis in mid-November. She is very excited about beginning to walk again.”

I like this article. Very informative, a lot of people would probably mistake Dolphin Neurostim for quack science. I’ve heard my doctors actually use terms like this before, and most people just need to give acupuncturists more of a chance…
Are there some ways to treat stress with Dolphin Neurostim?
Treating the parasympathetic points in our manual will help with stress.
Hi all,
I’d like to point out to skeptics that MPS Therapy works, in my opinion. I only have very brief experiences with it but I have a lot of experiences with acupuncturists.
The above commenter mentioned that a lot of people need to give acupuncturists more of a chance and I agree. The basic principle in my opinion is that: everything changes everything. Whether you eat, sleep or take a walk, that has an effect on your body. Even something that seems like it should do “nothing” can actually have profound effects.
Acupuncture and the Dolphin Neurostim are the same way, only backed with proof. Even if something seems unreasonable think back to all of the little tips and tricks you have learned in your life. This is just like one of those. It’s something less than obvious so of course it will create skeptics.
This article is really good. Is it legal/feasible/allowed to cite your articles in college papers? If not, can you refer me to someone who I can cite?
Are you continuing to do tests like these to verify that the Dolphin Neurostim always produces results? Where can I sign up?
Sometimes I just want relief from my symptoms, not treatment. I’ll have to think of picking up one of these, for sure…
This is a good article on one of several practical applications for the Dolphin Neurostim. Part of me appreciates that it assumes a background in dealing with fibromyalgia, but I do think this article could discuss the condition being treated in a little more detail. I hope that as critique is gentle enough — and of course, this is a public forum, so it’s hard to pass what I say off as “critique” in the first place. 😉
First, want to say that this text is really good and there are so many useful information. Then, I have to make a question, is it true that fibriomylga can be caused by some other diseases? And that they usually have symptoms of systematic disease of connective tissue, viruses, and bacterial infections, as well as degenerative rheumatic diseases? I wish more people had all these information and stop using painkillers and other medicines, which after some time become counter productive and destroy our blood pressure, and heavy headaches.
I like your article a lot. It’s very detailed and very informative. I believe, although myofascial is so frequent, is still hard discovered and properly treated, and that’s the biggest problem. The flow of oxygen to our brain and the release of endorphins is very important and crucial in normal functioning of our body. I like the idea of your hand-held device and treating myself with microcurrents on my own and in my own house. Where can I buy this device? Thank you in dvance.
Thank you for sharing all these information with us! How informative, and how helpful MPS therapy is! Amazing! It would be great consult more people in seminars and in different areas, so more people realize there are things they can do to help themselves! Manual therapies and these hand-held devices are really practical and can change many people lives! I will contact you for organizing seminar in DC area! Keep up on the good work!
Has anyone else been suffering from chronic pain and told you had arthritis? My doctor has been telling that for 10 years, with the explanation I have arthritis in my right hand and hip and that it’s causing chronic pain. I have problems with my index finger and the joint between my thumb and index finger. The other day my doctor said it might all be just in my head. I haven’t got the therapy, so I’m wondering what can I do to help myself. Where can I try the therapy with your device?
Hey I think my mom could use this. I used to be worried as a kid that it’s genetic so I’d get this too. Maybe I should buy one for myself just in case…
So versatile… I’d pay for one of these!
What a cool article! I’ll have to think of investing in this. I’ve had pain from birth (premie 😉 and think this might be just the ticket…
I have worked extensively with fibromyalgia. It is a stress and energetically based illness and all aspects must be addressed for best results. Energetic bodywork techniques that address the body/mind and release cellular stress from the tissues will give you a gentle experience and lead to healing. Thank you for your wonderful text, it’s really full of useful information, which can be taken into account when having patients with fibromyalgia.
I heard that Swedish massage can help fibromyalgia, but it seems like it just made things worse. Shiatsu, acupressure, craniosacral therapy and trigger (Gentle rocking) and Emotional freedom techniques are what gave me some good results. My vegetarian diet probably helped me the most. What I’m not satisfied with is that my pain always comes back and it’s always a little worse. I’m already in enough pain & don’t want something that adds to it. Has anyone with fibromyalgia actually tried dolphin neurostim? How did it work for you?
“Hi, I have been also been living with neuropathic pain for over 6 and a half years following surgery which has given me this unbearable pain in my upper abdomen. Nothing has helped also tried everything, but been hearing great things about these nerve stimulator devices and I’m interested to learn more about if it could help me and also the right person to approach about it. How I would get on and experience, I would be very grateful if you could reply.
Kind Regards”
“Concentrated DC microstimulation, applied by a point stimulator, like Dolphin Neurostrim is the only modality that can produce therapeutic
responses quick enough to eliminate or include therapeutic systems into future treatment protocols. I’ve had problems with chronic pain in my left hip, which I hurt when I was a teenager, but it’s back to normal since I started using Dolphin! Thank you for so detailed and informative text!”
MPS is very different from other forms of electrical stimulation in both application precision and waveform. As an experienced therapist, I have to point out what I’ve realized it improves. It releases muscle tension and joint restriction. It balances functional asymmetries seen during activities and repolarizes and releases scar tissue. It also decreases pain and tissue sensitivity, and releases endorphins producing general relaxation. Finally, it decreases abnormal muscle tone and tension and reinnervation of neural pathways. I highly recommend MPS to anyone with chronic and pelvic pains!
I’ve been using Dolphin NEurostrim for six months now. This ingenius device is easily able to search for and locate areas of the skin that are lower in electrical resistance, including acupuncture points and trigger points. What’s nice is that any person without acupuncture training should be able to use the Dolphin Neurostim to locate and then treat these areas of lowered resistance. I, as a professional therapist, am more than satisfied with the results I got with my patients.
I woke up 2 days ago with a slight pain on my jaw, directly behind my lower left wisdom tooth. I also had a sore throat, and it’s happening today too. The pain seems to be directly in the flesh where my jaw hinges when I poke at it. None of my actual teeth hurt as far as I can tell, but it’s hard to be 100% sure in a small area like that. At the moment, it’s more of a discomfort than real pain, but I am worried that it might be the start of something worse.
I’ve heard horror stories about people ending up with a bad chiropractor, but I don’t know how to select one and I’m nervous about trying it. Any suggestions? I know I can make sure they have credentials and stuff, but what would you ask a chiropractor to decide whether to trust your back to them? I’d rather go to the therapist and try Dolphin Neurostrim. Can anyone with real experience reply and suggest what to do? Thank you.
Why not do both. I regularly use the Dolphin Neurostim. Then if you feel that it is a good match you can try chiropractic
you need a new doctor if you were told it might all be in your head. uh-Duh! this systemic disorder IS all in the head- it’s a systemic nerve dysfunction. So treat yourselfg to a new Dr. who actually reads their medical journals, and stays up-to- date.
